Build a Bear
Animaland is one of our most recent addition to our portfolio of birthday parties and follows the lines of Build a Bear concept. Following a period of indoor play and the tractor ride the children are able to choose from a wide selection of cute and cuddly animal skins – not just bears. Animals in tow the children move to our fluff filling machine. They are given a star to insert in the animal’s tummy along with a warm happy thought and then with the assistance of the party host the children start to fill their cuddly animals. Be it ‘Forrest’ the Orang-utan or ‘Bamboo’ the Panda the children then help complete a birth certificate for their new found pet before being offered a cardboard carry case to take their new found friend home in. The birthday child gets an additional treat as they also get to choose an outfit to dress their animal in. The Build a Bear party is suitable for all ages – both young and old, and has proved popular over the winter months where party goers may be less keen to venture outdoors.
All our children’s parties last two hours and include party invitations, a dedicated party host, tractor ride, juices for the children while they are playing indoors and a party meal. The Build a Bear party format is 30 minutes indoor play, 15 minutes for the tractor ride, 40 minutes choosing and building bears, 5 minutes for hand wash and 30 minutes for party food.
Party parents chose either the hot meal or picnic box option. Hot food includes a choice of mini sausages, vegetarian pizza or pure breast chicken nuggets served with chips and Heinz baked beans with ice cream for dessert. With the picnic box children chose from either a hot dog, grated cheese, ham or jam sandwich roll. The box includes crisps, yoghurt, chocolate bar, farm-made crispy cake and fruit. Special dietary requirements can be catered for.
For an additional charge we can provide a home cooked chocolate cake covered in delicious chocolate icing, sweeties & treaties which we can decorate with tractors and farm animals or give it a more of a princess feel with Haribo love hearts and pink Barbie sprinkles. Prices start from £9.75.
Party bags can be provided at an additional charge of £2.50 each, although we would argue that with a new found pet in a large carry case to take home parents are absolved from providing party bags as you have one already supplied in the party price!
