Thurleigh Farm and Adventure Playground is the perfect place for parties. Why? Well practice makes perfect and we host over 750 children’s parties each year and this gives us plenty of practice. And to be honest you need to practice, to adapt and to evolve. That is one reason we have 20 different party types – yes 20!
But the learning process also means that we try and ensure that your child and guests have a time to remember. We would like to think that this means a worry free time for the party parents and while this is more than often the case, lets face it parents also want the party to be successful and in trying to ensure this is the case will worry that everything goes smoothly.
We try to ensure this happens by having a party host who will be with you throughout the party’s 2 hour duration. The Host will be there to greet you and your party guests, taking note of food choices as guests arrive and ensuring there are squashes available for the kids during the first part of the party which is held in the indoor play area. There will be a table reserved for your party, a shoe holding tub and a bin liner as a not so glamorous but practical way of carrying presents back to the boot of the car. The host will ensure the food choices are relayed to the kitchen before taking the party out on the tractor and other activities that form the party overall.
Extras can take more worry of your hands. We can supply homemade themed Birthday cakes, party bags that we put together ourselves that adapt to age and gender. If you would like we can supply sandwich platters or mini buffets for the adults in your party group or run a tab so that your guests can order drinks or perhaps a slice of cake from the café.
New parties
Animal Land (New!)
The birthday child and guests get the chance to create their own cuddly animal. Each child selects an animal skin to fill from a range of over 20 different animal types. All new arrivals need to be registered and so each child will be helped in creating a name and accompanying birth certificate for their new furry friend. They will then help in breathing life into heir new friend (sounds better than saying they will help stuff it which is what they actually do). The host will ensure the child is happy with the level of stuffing before placing a lucky star inside the skin and closing it up ready for cuddles and hugs. New friend can be ferried home in its travelling box holder. The Birthday Child will also get to choose from one of the many outfits to adorn their new best friend.
This party is suitable for all ages even with the pre-teeners revelling in the coolest addition to their cuddly toy herds. This is our most expensive party at £14.25 per head although the pressure is off if having to supply guests with party bags since each guest already has such a great takeaway.
Party Format: 30 mins indoor play with squash provided and a reserved table, 15 mins for a tractor ride 40 mins for Build A Bear, 5 mins for hand wash and 30 mins for party food.
Equestrian Antics(New!)
This will be a sure hit and not just for the horsey lovers. Suitable for those who fear horses or are allergic to them. Let your kids relive your youth for you. We will build a miniature Olympia replete with professional jumps, dressage ring and flat racing course. Each guest ‘wears’ a stead then negotiates the jumps, performs in the dressage and then goes for the flat race: singing clippity clop all the way. Out come the rosettes, perhaps even a winners speech? Riders, their steeds and proud parents head back to the party room for sustenance, story swapping and birthday song singing.
This party is suitable for most ages from 5 years up (children need to be able to jump). The price is £11.25 per head.
Party Format: 30 mins indoor play with squash provided, 15 minutes for tractor ride, 40 minutes for equestrian excitement, 5 minutes for hand wash and 30 mins for party food.

Play Farm Party
Cost: £9.0 per head
available daily 10.00am to 3.30pm. All ages
Full use of our indoor play area (astra glide 3 lane way slide, Labyrinth Climb, Aerial runway leap, Giant Cheese Causeway, Pyramid Climb, Ball pool, Biff n Bash), choice of picnic box or hot food, party hostess, meeting & feeding the animals, plus Tractor/Trailer ride, pedal cart raceway and model farm fun, assault course and visit to the Maize Maze (when available).

Quad Bike Party
Cost: £11.25 per head
6 - 10 year olds only
After the tractor ride each child will have instruction and laps on 50cc mini-Quad bikes.

Go-Kart party
Cost: £11.25 per head
Same as the Quad Bike party, but children ride on faster, more powerful Go-Karts (age 10 years + only).

Pony Party
Cost: £11.25 per head
After the tractor ride the group is taken for a Pony Rides. We have two ponies Flint and Bianca. Ponies will be led so riding experience is not essential.

Trampoline Party
Cost: £10.25 per head
After the tractor ride the party has exclusive use of our 6-bed trampoline set. Bouncing has never been so safe, so simple or so much fun.

Football Party
Cost: £10.25 per head
Ignore the photo! We now offer football parties and not just for the boys. We can vary the size of the goal depending on age. We can simply play matches or for the older children organise a coaching session.

Disco party
Cost: £10.25 per head
available 3.30pm onwards only
Includes a disco with great music, lights and dancing and of course some competitions and prizes.
Craft parties
Cost: £11:25 per head
After the tractor ride the kids get a chance to decorate an object such as a trinket box, picture frame or wooden decoration. Whilst these dry the kids can enjoy simple painting or decoarting cut out figures.

Wacky Woods party
Cost: £10.25 per head
After meeting and playing in the indoor play area, the party group walks to the 'Wacky Woods' with the party hostess. A nature trail is an option suitable for children 5 and over. Swing on the rope swings, play in the tree and fairytale houses, explore the bunker and jail. Followed by a well-earned tractor ride back and a tasty meal.

Fire Engine Fun party
Cost: £11.25 per head
Fire Engine
The children ride the fire engine to the far side of the farm. They then take it in turns to spray the water hose. We then pack up the hose and head back.
Bungee Trampoline
Great fun for all ages. Why not book a Bungee Trampoline Party -£11.25. Similar formats as the other parties but with 45 minutes exhausting bouncing as back flips and somersaults are safely perfected!

General information
We have a minimum party booking of 10 children. A deposit of £25 reserves the party and the balance is payable on the day. We can supply a cake with farm animals and tractor decorations, (or special requests can normally be arranged. Small cakes serving up to 15 cost £9.75 and £14.75 for a large cake serving up to 25.
Please note that the price includes free entry for four adults plus one free adult for any child 4 years old or younger.
Party bags
With each party we can provide party bags at a cost of £2.50 per child. Items within these bags vary from time to time and are gender specific but might include
