Types of visit

At Thurleigh Farm & Adventure Playground we aim to provide a venue for children and parents to play or learn together. We remain an working and open farm but have added facilities that allow children and parents to do activities together in play, animal feeding or visiting Wacky Woods or the Maize Maze (is season).

We are members of the National Association of Farms for Schools to help make sure the children get the most out of their visit.

All visits will be structured according to the type of visit. The children will be accompanied by a trained member of Thurleigh Farm staff who will provide them with an informative talk and opportunity to participate and learn through experience. The children will also be given activity sheets to fill in during their visit and colouring to take away with them, depending on their age.

We cater for school, nursery and group visits throughout the year. For all school visits each group receives one free adult per four children.
